WGH-Herrenhausen eG

Hundreds of enquiries by phone and email for a single flat within just a few hours – every landlord knows this scenario. It was no rarity at WGH-Herrenhausen eG (WGH) either. “Our staff dreaded putting flat listings online. Our systems were completely overloaded,” recalls Philipp Reuter, Head of Letting at WGH. Thanks to Immomio, that is now a thing of the past. “The time savings are enormous,” says Reuter.

Customer story WGH-Herrenhausen eG

WGH manages around 5,000 residential units in the Hanover region. Immomio has been supporting its letting for around a year. Since then, Philipp Reuter and his team have been working with the software every day: “Our goal is to go completely paperless and to digitalise the entire letting process with Immomio.”

Relief for staff

The Immomio algorithm helps them do this. It pre-selects all applicants and ranks them according to their suitability for the flat on offer. This significantly lightens the day-to-day workload of WGH’s staff: “On the one hand, Immomio pre-selects the prospective tenants, and on the other, the tool also handles the rejections,” reports Reuter. Thanks to Immomio, WGH is also on the safe side when it comes to data protection: “That topic is almost entirely taken off our hands,” says Reuter. This is because, with Immomio, prospective tenants can maintain their own data in a password-protected area and delete it at any time with a click of the mouse.

Allocating flats to cooperative members

WGH’s members are also integrated into the Immomio system. They can register via a special link and view WGH’s available flats. “This ensures that our members are only shown our flats and not the entire rental market,” explains Reuter. This makes it easy to allocate vacant flats internally to members of the cooperative. “If there is no suitable candidate in our internal pool of prospective tenants, the listing goes online,” says the Head of Letting.

Ideas and wishes are heard

What Reuter particularly appreciates about working with Immomio is the willingness to develop the product further together: “We can contribute our ideas and wishes, and they are all gradually integrated. As a result, the tool keeps becoming more useful for us.” To conclude, the Head of Letting also has words of praise for the support: “The service is great. Both the response time and the way they respond are impeccable.”
