GeWoBau Marburg lets around 2,650 residential units in the university town in Hesse. For data protection reasons, the housing company had recently stopped keeping applicant lists. “We entered all the data on the online portals and on our website. That took up a considerable amount of time,” Knoche recalls. Immomio not only reduced this workload but also ensured data protection.

“As applicants manage their own data on Immomio and can delete it at any time, we are able to keep GDPR-compliant applicant lists and provide prospective tenants with flat suggestions,” explains Knoche, who therefore speaks of a win-win situation in which both prospective tenants and the housing company benefit. The ability to book appointments via Immomio – and cancel them if necessary – is also convincing: “Nobody has to queue at our offices any more,” says the Head of Housing Management.
A simple switchover
Knoche is also enthusiastic about the process of switching to Immomio’s digital letting solution: “The switchover took only a few days and fitted seamlessly into our workflow.” GeWoBau Marburg’s customers also appreciate the new service: “At viewings, we specifically ask applicants about their experience with Immomio and get extremely good feedback,” says Knoche.
