The housing industry discusses and learns about AI at ImmomioCon

Hamburg, 7 November 2025 – Around 250 specialists and managers from the housing industry met at the Opernloft in Hamburg on 4 and 5 November 2025 for the third ImmomioCon. Under the motto “360° – Connect. Inspire. Digitalise.”, this year’s conference was dedicated entirely to artificial intelligence (AI) and its role in the digital housing industry – and also coincided with the 10th anniversary of Immomio GmbH.
Alongside many technical innovations, controversial topics were also discussed. For example in the keynote by Prof. Dr. Maja Göpel, who spoke about transformation and our social responsibility for sustainable economic activity, or in the talk by Ralf Protz, who addressed the future of Germany’s large housing estates.
The topic of “artificial intelligence” was a recurring focus. In the panel discussion “AI from different perspectives”, experts such as Johannes Hiemer (Immomio), Rüdiger Grebe (EBZ Akademie Bochum), Jens Huthoff (GAG Ludwigshafen), Ragnar Kruse (AI.Hamburg) and Roman Riebow (Gewobag) discussed the practical use of AI in the real estate industry. They examined the topic from technological, academic and housing industry perspectives and showed how AI projects are already being put into practice today.
Participants also received plenty of practical insights: Immomio Managing Director Nicolas Jacobi gave exclusive insights into the further development of theImmomio 360° platform, presented current progress and introduced upcoming features. In addition, numerous sessions by Mionauts – as the employees call each other – offered deeper insights into the use and benefits of the platform – from tenant communication and process automation to existing customer management.
A particular highlight was the presentation of the new Immomio AI “IDA” by Stefan Williamson (Head of Product, Immomio). The intelligent digital assistant will be gradually expanded across the entire 360° platform and is intended to noticeably ease users‘ everyday workload – through automated processes, intelligent recommendations and even more intuitive operation. In this way, IDA helps housing companies work more efficiently, reduce routine tasks and at the same time improve service for tenants.
Partner companies such as Aareon Connect, BTS Software and Datatrain also took part with their own sessions and showed how intelligent interfaces and data integration create added value for the entire industry.
“With ImmomioCon, we want to live exactly what our motto stands for: Connect. Inspire. Digitalise.”, says Nicolas Jacobi, Managing Director of Immomio GmbH. “This year we sensed how great the interest in practical digital solutions is – and how strongly the willingness to actively integrate AI into one’s own organisation is growing.”
A special highlight awaited guests at the end of the first day of the conference: opera singers hidden in the audience gave a surprise musical performance that sent shivers down spines and thrilled the participants. The spontaneous performance was the perfect transition to the evening event at the Penthouse Elb-Panorama, where guests then networked, celebrated and danced in a relaxed atmosphere.
